Crossing California by Adam LangerThanks to "Pearl's Picks" for this book. She recommended this book. I always cringe at the phrase "coming of age", however, this is one of those books. Coming of age in Chicago in the 1980s, being Black or Jewish, mostly Jewish. It is great book. California of course, is a street a dividing line (i.e., the "tracks") between the world of the "haves" and the "have nots".
