So we get to a major intersection and the driver ( a new one...male) says he has to go to the restroom. Besides we are a couple of minutes ahead of schedule. He runs across four lanes of traffic to a local greasy spoon. I can see the headline...passengers stranded on city bus after driver killed crossing street on way to bathroom! When he got back to the bus; he thanked us for waiting (now where were we going to go... who among us could drive a bus...but I digress) another day with public transit. I know I wouldn't want it any other way.

Today's Observation The wonder of WIFI, June 5, 2009
So I am at the public library where they have "free" WIFI ( did I mention that I have a new computer... yup the roommate and I bought our first "real" computer and as you can tell from the much improved blog the new computer rocks... anyway I digress) which allowed me to access my "reader" (now I always think of a reader as someone who reads to blind persons although I guess you can't say blind anymore-visually impaired?... but I am an old guy and expectations are much lower... I digress). My much beloved daughter ( I must say this because she is one of the two or maybe three people that reads this blog) had posted a link to a YouTube video on her blog. It was hilarious. After viewing this I will never be able to eat "Hot Pockets" again (now I must confess that I don't think I have ever eaten them... but I digress). Let's just say it involves diarrhea and deathSo anyway, there I was in the public library watching a video on a little screen, does it get any better?
Oh by the way the image... well I am into steampunk and I loved this one of a gramophone

- the act of making and recording a measurement
- a remark expressing careful consideration
- facts learned by observing; "he reported his observations to the mayor"
- notice: the act of noticing or paying attention; "he escaped the notice of the police" I especially like this last example
